We need to establish some basic principles of tension before the expansion in transformers. What is the current, voltage or a burden? Imagine a man a tow a car uphill. The voltage (V) is the man (120V). The (in amperes) is the amount of work he does to the hill (2amps) and the coach is your load (a motor of some sort). Or maybe the man brings a friend to create the two of them (240) with two work together, work less (1AMP) for a constant load (a motorKind).
What makes a transformer do? Transformers form a control voltage on. Take one step down the power and voltage step-up voltage for isolation or voltage within another. So why is it so important to control this voltage. Take for example the local power company. It uses a transformer to step creates the high voltage power lines, the current low. Then, before entering the house or local measures the voltage back down, so that the input voltage is notexaggerated.
parts that make up a transformer? A transformer consists of three main components, the laminated iron core, primary and secondary windings. The primary of the transformer, the input power (input voltage). The secondary winding is connected, where the power is going to (voltage output). The laminated core is used to separate primary and secondary windings of each point of physical connection.
As the processors work? There are no moving partsa transformer to pass instead of a current transformer used for induction from the primary to the secondary. Easy to understand it, what it is used to take a motor electromagnetic induction, the voltage of primary coil and move the secondary coil. We control induction turn-ratio.
What is a value shift? A report on duty is the ratio between primary and secondary. If it is 120V input and 24 volt transformer to leaveTransformer. Our power would resign with a 5 / 1 new relationship. simple mathematical object is used to calculate this, voltage input / output of the transformer. 120/24've had 5 / 1 ration.
How do you cut a transformer? Cut to a transformer secondary winding of a transformer. The secondary winding is rated in VA (Volt for direct current). An example would be a control circuit 24v thats 2amps capacity. It would be your (24V) and multiplyfrom their maximum current (2amps) that is 24 times 2, 48 or 48 VA be the same. This means you would need for a transformer rated 48VA.
Transformers not need maintenance? No, there are no moving parts, requires no maintenance. Once a processor has Gone Bad, which usually shows on the primary windings, it must be replaced. Some transformers are equipped with a welded-in link or a title. If a transformer has been activated or has gone wrong, there is a general rule for searchSource of the problem. A faulty transformer is never the "problem" just a symptom of the problem.
What are the different types of processors? There are many kinds of transformers you see in the box, step up, step down, tap separation, multi-and auto. There is also another type, which is a three-phase transformer, voltage transformer includes more input an office building. The general rule is the most common type of transformer you will see is astep down transformer (voltage control).
What is the difference in this type of processors? Step up transformers take up primary and secondary voltage. Go down transformers take the primary step is for the voltage across the secondary. Isolation transformers have the same voltage on the primary and secondary schools. A multi-tap transformer is a step up or down transformer, which has multi-tap on the primary orSecondary. An autotransformer is a special type of processors that do not follow common rules of processors. Use a continuous winding is used to deliver a step back or step function.
Transformers play a key role in AC power systems. They are a way to control the tension. There is no need for transformer maintenance even though they are excellent indicators of problems. Do you understand these concepts and principles is the key to solving the problems and electrical designCircuits.
